Sometimes its easy to forget the long process and the many lives behind the cup of coffee that I drink. From the hand picked cherries, to the numerous stages of sorting, and the processing, and drying, and evaluations, all before it ever even reaches a roastery. Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Co. has produced this beautiful video compiled from tons of footage taken at our Ruli Mountain washing station and farmlands in Rwanda all the way to our roastery and shop here in Roswell, GA. Enjoy this incredible journey from bean to cup, as we recognize all of the hard work and care that goes into every cup of coffee that we drink.

“Hello” in Kinyarwanda.
Welcome to what will be the official memoir of your Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Co. roastmaster.
Before we get started, let me introduce myself. My name is Mike Singletary and I love coffee. And I love for you to love coffee. I also love other things. Particularly Jesus, my wife, and my kids. And guacamole. And disregarding proper grammar.
In all seriousness though, I love my job, and the craft behind creating an excellent cup of coffee. I’ve been working as a volunteer for Land of a Thousand Hills for the past 5 years as a coffee ambassador at various churches and at conferences, brewing or serving coffee and sharing the Drink Coffee. Do Good.® story. Its exciting to now be an official part of the team as the roasting and coffee excellence director.
One of the things I enjoy the most is sharing the little things that I pick up along the way- whether it’s cupping notes, new roast profiles, cool brewing methods, product reviews and demos, or just daily silliness. And so I’d like to invite you along into the aromatic world of your Land of a Thousand Hills roastmaster and coffee geek.
